- 1 kg boneless chicken
- 4 tsp yoghurt
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- as per taste Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp red chilli Powder or to taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 pinch orange food colour(optional)
- 1/2 tsp tandoori masala(optional)
- as required Enough oil for the marination and cooking
- 1 big onion
- 1 capsicum of any colour

- 8Wash, pat dry and cut boneless chicken into pieces of your desired size preferably 1 inch cubes. For the marinade in a big bowl add yoghurt, ginger and garlic paste,salt,red chilli powder,lime juice, black pepper powder, cumin powder, food colour, tandoori masala coriander powder, garam masala powder and mix them very well. Make sure it is combined really well.

- Mix it well with your hands so that the masala mix is combined well and can coat the chicken pieces with each and every ingredients. Then add oil and mix again now add the chicken pieces along with square cut onions(optional) and bell peppers (optional) and mix it well along with the chicken and marinate it for 3-4 hours for best result marinate overnight. I always prefer overnight marination.

- If you are using bamboo skewers soak it in water for 5-6 hours so that it couldn't burnt while doing the barbecue. Once the chicken got marinayed arrange the chicken pieces in the skewers with the onions and bell peppers one by one and grill it or bbq it whatever you prefer. Brush the assembled skewers with oil while grilling or doing bbq to make it moist and juicy. You can even cook it in the oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes or until done.
