  23. Hawaii Bbq sauce
  24. 3 clove garlic
  25. 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
  26. 2 tbsp grated red onion
  27. 1/4 cup whiskey
  28. 2 tbsp sherry vinegar
  29. 1/2 cup soy sauce
  30. 1/2 cup ketchup
  31. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  32. 1 1/4 tsp salt
  33. 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin

Steps to make Hawaiian Chicken Kebabs

  1. BBQ SAUCE-Add oil to pan at med heat and throw in the smashed garlic, grated ginger, and grated onion. Cook until it starts Browning about 2 mins.
  2. Deglaze pan with whiskey
  3. Add remaining bbq sauce ingredients and simmer for 15 to 20 mins. Now your bbq sauce is complete. Save for later.
  4. Chop all the veggies, pineapple and chicken into kebab size chunks. 1 in square.
  5. Throw chicken in a bowl and add salt.
  6. Add remaining veggies and pineapple, except zucchini, to the bowl. add a little more salt. Reserve zucchini until marinade time is complete.
  7. Add the grated ginger, crushed garlic, and onion to bowl.
  8. Add some fresh cracked pepper
  9. Mix remaining marinade Ingredients in a separate bowl.
  10. Add it to the bowl and mix well with hands.
  11. Put into freezer bag and marinade for at least 2 hours.
  12. After 2 hours get the kebab marinade out the from fridge.
  13. Season the zucchini with the zucchini seasoning.
  14. Start skewering the kebabs. Try alternating with onion, bell pepper pineapple, chicken, zucchini.
  15. When grill is ready put kebabs on. after one side has nice grill marks start basting with Hawaii bbq sauce for every turn thereafter.
  16. Pull off grill when complete (7 to 8 mins of bbq) and add another spoonful of bbq sauce from a clean utensil and separate bowl to avoid salmonella.
