  1. Lightly toast all ingredients in the "Spice mix" section, cool and grind to fine powder.

  5. Grill skewers 3 inches over well-lit charcoal, turning occasionally until surface of meat is slightly charred (usually about 20 minutes).
  6. Take cooked kabab out of skewers and serve topped with sliced onions.
